Alluring Youko and the Seduced Prince (傾国の妖狐と誘惑されし王子) is a collection based urgent mission running from 09/11/2017 to 22/11/2017.

Revival Notes[]

Players farm Time Crystals from any of the event maps.
A certain amount of Time Crystals is needed to trade for a copy of the revived unit.
- Subsequent copies will cost less Time Crystals.
For the duration of the revival, the chance of Skill Level Up and Cost Reduction for the unit is doubled.
For Monday, Wednesday and Saturday (JST time, UTC +9:00), all Time Crystals gained from farming any of the maps will be multiplied by 1.5x.
During the revival, special fairies, known as Bonboris, will be dropped.
- These fairies are used specifically to skill up Daki for this revival only.

Origin of Lycoris[]

The bulbs of Lycoris radiata are very poisonous. These are mostly used in Japan, and they are used to surround rice paddies and houses to keep pests and mice away. That is why most of them grow close to rivers now. In Japan the red spider lily signals shūbun, the arrival of fall. Many Buddhists will use it to celebrate the arrival of fall with a ceremony at the tomb of one of their ancestors. They plant them on graves because it shows a tribute to the dead. People believe that since the red spider lily is mostly associated with death, one should never give a bouquet of these flowers.

Since these scarlet flowers usually bloom near cemeteries around the autumnal equinox, they are described in Chinese and Japanese translations of the Lotus Sutra as ominous flowers that grow in Diyu (also known as Hell), or Huángquán (Simplified Chinese: 黄泉; Traditional Chinese: 黃泉), and guide the dead into the next reincarnation.

Some legends have it that when you see someone that you may never meet again, these flowers, also called red spider lilies or corpse flowers, would bloom along the path. Perhaps because of these sorrowful legends, Japanese people often used these flowers in funerals. The popular Japanese name Higanbana (彼岸花 Higan bana) for Lycoris radiata literally means higan (the other or that shore of Sanzu River) flower, decorative and enjoyable, flower of the afterlife in gokuraku jyōdo (極楽浄土 gokuraku jyōdo).

Yomi (黃泉)[]

Yomi or Yomi-no-kuni (黄泉 or 黄泉の国 "Yellow springs/wells") is the Japanese word for the land of the dead (World of Darkness). According to Shinto mythology as related in Kojiki, this is where the dead go after life. Once one has eaten at the hearth of Yomi it is impossible to return to the land of the living. Yomi in Japanese mythology is comparable to Hades or Sheol and is most commonly known for Izanami's retreat to that place after her death. Izanagi followed her there and upon his return he washed himself, creating Amaterasu, Susanoo, and Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto in the process.

This realm of the dead seems to have geographical continuity with this world and certainly cannot be thought of as a paradise to which one would aspire, nor can it appropriately be described as a hell in which one suffers retribution for past deeds; rather, all deceased carry on a gloomy and shadowy existence in perpetuity regardless of their behavior in life. Many scholars believe that the image of Yomi was derived from ancient Japanese tombs in which corpses were left for some time to decompose.

In order to remove the spell cast on the Prince, you have no choice but to cast the art of release with the same Pao-Pei that cast the spell." Nezha: "In order to do that... Hm, that's right. We must collect the fragments of the Pao-Pei that Daki broke to bring him back to his normal self." Nezha: "Pao-Pei are tools used for strong Xiānshù. How they're used depends on the hermit, but..." Nezha: "It appears the Pao-Pei created was a manifestation from Daki condensing her powers tightly. She must've done it to enhance the power of her art to be much greater."
