Rearguard Tacticians

Rearguard Tacticians are Ranged Units that specialize in supporting other units. Their strength lies in a skill that significantly increases the defensive status of other units, as well as a class trait that allows them to lower the skill reuse timer of team members by 10% after they are placed on the field. Beyond their specialties, they are fairly similar to vampire hunters and also possess a double attack.

Upon class change their skill reuse reduction ability is increased to 20%.

Upon awakening their skill reuse reduction ability is further increased to 30%.

During second awakening, This can be further increased to 40% for either ranged or melee, depending on the route taken. (The other route remains at 30%.)

Notes (Expandable)[]

Rearguard Tacticians are not particularly useful prior to being Class Changed; after CC their skill reuse reduction becomes significant and with full affection they can hold their own damagewise due to their high attack speed and innate double-attack. At high level and with both in normal mode Aisha can kill a blue ogre faster than Nanaly and even Len is able to destroy a Heavy Armor single-handedly.

Tactical notes[]

Be advised that Rearguard Tacticians could end altering the relative strength/usefulness for a determinate mission of units. Eg Spica > Bashira and Bernice > Maribel could be the opposite when a Rearguard Tactician is around. Also units that rely on skill either to attack (Angels, Summoners) or to avoid retaliation (Pegasus Riders) greatly benefit from Rearguard Tacticians. If you are going to use one redesign your team accordingly. Also notice Rearguard Tacticians increase the rate at which soldiers will be calling for reinforcements
