Class Related Abilities, or Class Abilities, are abilities that a class revolves around.

Normally, an Ability will add something extra to an individual unit, whether an increase in stats, support to other units, or increasing the drop rate of an in-game item. For certain classes however, an Ability is used to help their class trait. This is a Class Ability.

Currently, only the following classes have a Class Ability:

This page is dedicated to the abilities of these classes. To find a set of abilities of a particular class, scroll down to the Hidebox with that particular group's name and open it up. If an opened Hidebox has no information inside, it means that particular group currently has no abilities that belong to it.

Groups, as well as the abilities in each group, are ordered by date of implementation.


Maids[]

Maids are Melee units that focus on supporting other units. While on the active team, Maids enhance the strength of their masters and, while deployed, if one of their masters are defeated, they are instead withdrawn. The Attack and Defense of a Maid will increase by 20% for each master deployed up to 5 masters or a 100% increase in stats.

For Maids, their Class Abilities, Maid's Loyalty before Awakening and Maid's Devotion after it, are used to determine who exactly their masters are. As a result of this, their abilities may stack if a particular unit qualifies as the master of multiple maids.

(Ex. Noel qualifies to be the master of Shirley, Lina, and Ariel due to being both a Dwarf and a Bishop.)

Elementalers are Ranged Units that focus on supporting their tokens, the eponymous Elementals. While typically, aside from a few exceptions, Elementalers cannot attack, they can summon Elemental tokens that can attack in their place, with the first one on the field not counting towards the deployment limit. Additionally, Elementalers add their Attack and Defense to their own Elementals within range.

For Elementalers, their Class Abilities, [Element] Spirit User before Awakening and Advanced [Element] Spirit User after it, are used to determine the exact type of Elemental that they can summon, each one with their own special characteristic. Their Class Abilities will reflect this by changing the [Element] portion into the name of their specific Elemental. In the case of an Elementaler gaining a Seasonal Unit, their post-Awakening Ability instead becomes Advanced [Element] Spirit Resonator.

(Ex. Clarice can summon Darkness Elementals hence her Class Abilities are Darkness Spirit User and Advanced Darkness Spirit User respectively.

Blacksmiths are Melee units that focus on supporting the Prince as well as other units. While on the active team, the targeted classes that each Blacksmith specializes in, and the Prince, gain 5% Attack and Defense. While deployed, those same targeted classes and the Prince gain another 10% attack and defense, which increases to 15% when Awakened. To round it off a Blacksmith's skills further increase the stats of their targeted classes, the Prince, and themselves.

Similar to Maids, the Class Ability of Blacksmiths are used to determine which classes or factions that particular unit specializes in supporting. Unlike Maids, Blacksmiths don't have a unified naming theme for their Abilities, though the closest is Weaponsmith and [xxx]smith when regarding their pre-AW abilities.

Like Maids, Blacksmith's abilities may stack with a unit that qualifies for the abilities of multiple Blacksmiths.

(Ex. The Prince qualifies as a target for all Blacksmiths due to their class trait. As each Blacksmith's ability is different, that means all Blacksmiths stack with the Prince.)

Jesters are Ranged units that can have a myriad of different effects activate on every attack. Combined with their high Attack Speed, low Cost, and equally random Skills, Jesters can be a very formidable unit.

The Class Ability for Jesters, typically Whimsical Attack pre-Awakening and a stronger variation usually called [xxx] Attack post-Awakening, is used to specify a Jester's capabilities. These are a chance to do the following on each and every single attack:

  • Triple Shot - Attacking an enemy with three projectiles per attack.
  • Piercing - Attacking an enemy while ignoring their Defense and MR stats (aka True Damage)
  • Increasing Attack by 3x
  • And/or Assassination

Due to the nature of the Class Ability, it's possible to have all four effects happen at the same time, or have multiple effects on each projectile if Triple Shot has activated (including another Triple Shot activation). After Awakening, additional effects will be added to the original four, though there are some Jesters that have an additional effect before Awakening, like Prisna as shown below.

(Ex. The pre-Awakened ability of Prisna, Makai's Whimsical Attack, has the same effects as Whimsical Attack with the added bonus of immunity to Makai miasma.)

Monster Breakers are Melee units that focus on weakening enemies. Just by being on the active team, certain types of enemies will be weakened.

Unlike Maids and Blacksmiths, the Class Ability of Monster Breakers are used to specify the type of enemy they weaken. They normally have a set naming scheme of [Enemy] Breaker among their pre-AW Abilities, while after Awakening it no longer follows it.

Due to the nature of their Abilities, they can stack should there be an enemy that meets the conditions for multiple Monster Breaker Abilities.

Steam Knights are Melee units that focus on defending against particular enemies. Unlike Monster Breakers, Steam Knights reduce the damage done to themselves only and thus take a more proactive role as guardians against enemies of a particular type.

The Class Ability of Steam Knights are used to specify the type of enemy that they can defend against. They have a set naming scheme of [Enemy] Steam Armor I among their pre-Awakened abilities, while after Awakening it becomes [Enemy] Steam Armor II.

(Ex. Isambard's abilities, [Holy Demon] Steam Armor I and II decreases the damage she receives from both Angels and Demons.)
