Demon King's Labyrinth (魔王の迷宮) is a star rush urgent mission that ran from 28/05/15 to 11/06/15.

Revival Notes

• Players farm Time Crystals from any of the event maps.
• A certain amount of Time Crystals is needed to trade for a copy of the revived unit.
  • Subsequent copies will cost less Time Crystals.
• For the duration of the revival, the chance of Skill Level Up and Cost Reduction for the unit is doubled.
• For Monday, Wednesday and Saturday (JST time, UTC +9:00), all Time Crystals gained from farming any of the maps will be multiplied by 1.5x.
• During the revival, special fairies, known as Bonboris, will be dropped.
  • These fairies are used specifically to skill up Paula for this revival only.

Rewards

This is a star rush type event. The player earns rewards by completing missions and earning stars. Unit rewards will be received based on the amount of collected stars at the end of the event whereas additional rewards are granted instantly.

A Meeting on a Battlefield

Monster: BWA HA HA...!!  ???: I didn't even get to the maze... This is it for me... Anna: My Prince! Someone's being attacked by the monsters...! Let's hurry and help her! (Clear)  ???: You saved me. Thank you... You all... are so strong.  ???: After witnessing your strength, I have something to ask of you. I want you to come with me to the Maze of the Demon King! Anna: The Maze of the Demon King!? Anna: I know that the monsters are back now. Anna: But the source of their power, the Demon King should have been sealed away with by the goddess Aigis's power. Anna: Could this have anything to do with the Demon King...? Aigis: I should be the one to explain this... Anna: Aigis...! Aigis: The monsters are back because, after such a long time, my powers have weakened. Aigis: I'm a spiritual projection now, separated from the body I used to seal the Demon King away. I'm certain I sealed him away back then. Aigis: But, I'm sorry... I can't use my powers to tell what's become of that seal. Anna: We might be able to find out something about the connection between the sealed away Demon King and the return of the monsters. Anna: Traveler, we'll aid you in you quest to the Demon King's maze. Let's head to the castle to discuss the details first, though.

Paula's Introduction

Paula: I'm Paula. I was planning on exploring dungeons to save this world from the monsters trying to overrun it... I'm an apprentice adventurer... Paula: The party I joined was trying to explore the place that was once the Demon King's stronghold, a place called the "maze of the Demon King"... Paula: But my party was destroyed before we got there... Paula: Your Highness, let me ask again. Paula: If you're going to explore the maze to investigate the connection between the return of the monsters and the sealed away Demon King, please let me go with you... Paula: Please, do this for the sake of my friends who vowed to save the world too...!

The Entrance to the Maze

Paula: This is the entrance to the Demon King's maze. But I don't know what lies ahead... Anna: My Prince, enemies are headed this way. Prepare for battle! (Clear) Anna: The quest has only just begun. Let's concentrate and keep going. Paula: Huh? We're going to go in this big group...? Anna: Yes. We're going to lead the troops and attack the enemy. ...Is something the matter? Paula: R-Really...? That's a little different from how we adventurers usually handle a quest... Paula: (It's seems like it's going to hard to move from place to place.)

Evil Protection

Anna: That's... Adventurer: Hey, Paula! Huh? Who're they? Paula: They're going to help us. But more importantly, what are you doing? Adventurer: Oh, this floor is inhabited by monsters that attack from a distance. Adventurer: We don't have a healer in our party. We've got no way of recovering, so we're at a standstill. Adventurer: Plus, I get the feeling the monsters are only going to get stronger after this floor. Adventurer: Even if we tried to retreat, there's no telling if we'll be attacked or not. We're stuck! (Goblin Archers appear) Soldier: Reporting! Enemies approaching! Anna: Prepare to launch a counterattack, My Prince. Adventurer: Wh-Wh-Whoah... They're heeeere...!! Anna: Is it just me or did the enemies' attack range get even longer? (Goblin Archers defeated) Anna: It's like they're being protected by the Demon King. Adventurer: Hey, they monsters are distracted. Let's go while we can. See ya! We're goin' ahead! Paula: Huh...? Th-They...! (Clear) Anna: The monsters have retreated. Those adventurers seem to have gone ahead. I hope they're alright... Paula: Those guys are pros. They could survive any dungeon, no matter how dangerous. The only thing is, they're always broke. Anna: They said they didn't have a healer in their party, and I doubt they have money for healing potions... Anyway, let's just head to the next floor.

A Maze where Darkness Dwells

Anna: Enemies, My Prince! Let's attack! (Cyclops appears) Anna: They're... cyclopses! Be careful. That giant's attack packs a punch! (Demon King's Shadow appears) Anna: That shadow-like monster, could it be...? Anna: ...Judging from the way it looks, it was created by the Demon King's residual power. It's like an offshoot of the Demon King... (Clear) Paula: That shadow... Is it attacking to get rid of anyone who invades this maze...? Anna: That's what it looks like. It seems to be a kind of security system guarding the secrets of this maze. Anna: It looks like we're going to have to push forward to find out what that was really about.

The Depths of the Maze

Anna: The monsters are gradually getting tougher. Paula: That probably means we're approaching the innermost part of the maze... Soldier: Enemies approaching ahead! Anna: Figures. They're not going to let us through that easily. My Prince, let's attack! Paula: (Did we defeat all of the enemies...?) (Clear) Anna: I think we've come pretty far, but there's still no sign of the Demon King's shadow. Paula: ...Maybe we took the wrong path. Anna: Paula. Why don't we backtrack and check out a path we haven't taken yet? Paula: That's better than proceeding without any clues. Anna: Well then, My Prince, let's head back and try another route.

Anna: Ok, let's start exploring here. Soldier: Enemies ahead! They're coming this way! Anna: No time to waste... My Prince, prepare to fight!

The Tree of Life

Anna: Is that the Tree of Life over there? I heard the Tree of Life can heal nearby ally units. Anna: Oh, it looks like someone's up ahead. I can't believe they explored this maze alone. Charlotte: Hm? You guys are adventurers too? I'm Charlotte, a magic swordswoman. Charlotte: I decided to test my strength by forming a party and exploring this dungeon. Charlotte: I got separated from the others in my party. I just found the Tree of Life, so I was going to take a little break here. Charlotte: ...Well, I'm all healed up, and I've got to meet back up with my party. I'll be going now. Anna: Why don't we take a little break too? Soldier: Enemy attack! Enemy attack! Prepare for battle! Anna: Sounds like there's no time to rest now. (Adventurers appear) Adventurer: Hey, they're fighting the monsters. Adventurer: No way... They're trying to hog the Tree of Life all to themselves! I'm not gonna let 'em get away with that! Anna: They're... The adventurers from before! It's dangerous here. Stay back! Adventurer: Shut up! I'm not gonna let you hog that tree! The Tree of Life is ours! (Clear) Anna: Is it over...? The adventurers seem to have run off somewhere. I'd like to know where they went, but we'd better press forward.

Magic Resistant Beast

Anna: We're in pretty deep now. My Prince, let's rest... Monster: BWA HA HA...!! Paula: Monsters...! Anna: They just won't let us take a break! My Prince, prepare for battle! (Chimera appears) Paula: What's that monster...!? Anna: I think that's a chimera, a powerful monster created by the other monster's powers combined. Anna: Its attacks are powerful, and it's said to be resistant to magical attacks. Anna: The Demon King's protection has made it even more resistant to magic. Be careful when you attack it, My Prince. (Clear) Anna: If a chimera appeared, we must be close to the center of the maze. It's only going to get more difficult from here on out. Anna: Let's proceed with caution.

Signs of the Demon King

Anna: This place... ...I sense a bone-chilling evil. Paula: I don't like this place either... Soldier: Reporting! Something is headed this way! Anna: I knew it. Let's go, My Prince! (Adventurers appear) Adventurer: M-My body...! It's moving on its own...!! Charlotte: What...? I can't control my body...! Charlotte: Everyone, run! I may not look it, but I'm strong! You're in danger!! Charlotte: ...! My magical sword is acting on its own too!! What's going on!? (Demon King's Shadow appears) Anna: The strange phenomenon we just witnessed must have been the work of the Demon King's shadow... (Clear) Charlotte: I'm finally free... Anna: Please tell me. What happened? Charlotte: Well, before I lost control of my body, I heard a faraway voice say, "Defeat the Prince." Adventurer: Us too! Anna: You all heard someone's voice... It must have been someone who doesn't want us exploring the maze. It may not be the work of the Demon King. Paula: Did you learn anything? Anna: Yes. I wasn't able to get any information on why the monsters have returned, unfortunately, but... Anna: Now we know for sure that the Demon King we thought was sealed away is involved. That alone is a big deal. Anna: With what we learned, we must continue to investigate within the kingdom.

Unexplored Territory

Anna: This place is clearly different from everywhere else we've been. This must be the center of the maze. Monster: BWA HA HA...! Don't let the Prince out of this maze! I heard you-know-who's voice...! Monster: Everyone who lives in here is going to kill you...! Anna: My Prince, I believe this will be the final battle. I expect it will be quite a difficult fight. Anna: Everything is in your hands, My Prince. I await your orders...! (Demon King's Shadow appears) Anna: The shadow is taking on a form... It's probably only going to be stronger now. Paula: This is the moment of truth, My Prince...! (Clear) Anna: We won. Anna: The "you-know-who" that monster mentioned before... It must be someone powerful who's trying to put a stop to our quest. Anna: Whoever it is, I think we're going to need to be cautious from now on.
