Great Youkai War (妖怪大戦) is a collection based urgent mission that ran from 16/04/15 to 30/04/15.

Revival Notes

• Players farm Time (Moment/Revival) Crystals from any of the various event maps.
• A certain amount of Time Crystals is needed to trade for a copy of the revived unit.
  • Subsequent copies will cost less Time Crystals. (or unless the player already owned said revived unit previously)
• For the duration of the revival, the chance of Skill Level Up and Cost Reduction for the unit is doubled.
• For Monday, Wednesday and Saturday (JST time, UTC +9:00), all Time Crystals gained from farming each of the maps will be multiplied by 1.5x.
• For the entirety of the event, special fairies, known as Bonboris, will be dropped. These fairies are used specifically to skill up Nagi for this revival only.

Rewards

This is a collection type event. The player earns rewards by collecting seals and will receive rewards based on the amount collected at the end of the event.

Villagers Under Assault

Anna: My Prince, this is where they announced that the people were attacked by ninjas. Anna: The enemies are coming. Let's counterattack to protect the people! (Clear) Inari: Taking on the ninja like that! You're sure strong! Inari: You might just be able to stop the resurrection of the Yokai's supreme commander. Anna: The Yokai's...supreme commander? Inari: Yes, that's right. If he gets resurrected, who knows how many human lives will be lost. Anna: But how do you know about something like that? Who are you anyway...? Inari: I'm a Yokai too. My name is Inari the Fox Spirit. Haven't you ever heard of Yokai? Anna: Yes, I've heard of Yokai, but... But why would a Yokai want to warn us? Inari: Hmm, well I like scaring humans. You might even say it's my reason for living. Inari: But if the supreme commander comes back to life, many human lives will be snuffed out. Inari: If I run out of humans to scare, then what reason do I even have to live? So that's why I decided to help you out. Anna: Err, I see... Well whatever your reason, we can't just let this happen. My Prince, let's discuss this later at the castle.

Inari's Introduction

Inari: The supreme commander, Nurarihyon, and his Yokai are sealed away in a cave, but the sealing talisman has been torn off and they're about to escape. Inari: To stop that from happening, we need to find that talisman and make the seal strong again, but... Inari: Now that I think of it, the ninja that were attacking the village were seen carrying a sealing talisman. Inari: It looks like the ninjas are trying to break the seal. But why would humans be helping Yokai...? Inari: But we need to act now. If the ninjas are carrying that talisman, we need to take it back from them right away! Inari: If we can collect the sealing talisman and seal away the Yokai, we protect humans and keep my important hobby safe! It's two birds with one stone! Inari: But we have to hurry. Now that the talisman is missing, it's just a matter of time until he's brought back to life! Inari: I'll take you to the cave where they Yokai are held. Follow me!

Inari: This is the cave where the supreme commander, Nurarihyon, and his Yokai were sealed. Anna: The cave where the Yokai were sealed... We don't know what's might happen here. Please be careful.

Keystone of Sealing

Inari: This is it huh. The keystone is still here so that means they're still sealed. Anna: Well that's a relief... Inari: Don't let your guard down yet. Monsters are heading this way. Anna: The monsters must be planning to destroy the keystone and bring Nurarihyon back to life. Anna: We cant let the Seal Be Broken. Hurry up and prepare for battle! (Clear) Anna: Somehow we managed to beat back the monsters... Now we can relax a litt--- Inari: Look Out! Get away from the keystone! Anna: Is-is the seal breaking...!?

Great Yokai Nurarihyon

Anna: That was quite a shock, huh! Anna: Yes! The keystone is...! Inari: Oh dear... They're coming Anna: "They"? Inari: ...The Yokai. (Nurarihyon spawns) Nurarihyon: Hee hee! They tore off the sealing talisman, so I was able to get out rather easily Nurarihyon: Well, with a seal such as this, destroying it from the inside is mere child's play. Inari: He's awakened! Nurarihyon has the power to greatly increase the Yokai's fighting power, so you'd better be careful. Nurarihyon: Oh, humans, eh... A perfect warmup after my slumber. Yokai! Drive the humans to the deepest pits of fear. Time for you to rampage... Gah!! (clear) Anna: What happened to Nurarihyon? Inari: He got away. It looks like he left the cave and took the Yokai with him. Anna: Let's hurry after them... Soldier: Report! We've received a report that the nearby village is under assault by a group of ninja. Anna: At a time like this... Send some scouts to chase after Nurarihyon. We need to protect the village!

Ninja Assault!

Nagi: I've been waiting for you. I am Nagi. This place will soon be your graveyard...! Anna: Leave the village alone! The Yokai have revived and are on the rampage! This is no time for humans to fight each other! Inari: You're a ninja too... Was it you who tore off the sealing talisman? Nagi: That's right, we did it! We timed the attack on the village with Nurarihyon's resurrection just so you'd come out here! Nagi: Once we destroy you, our plans will have been accomplished! Now get ready! (Clear) Anna: We did it... But I'm worried about where Nurarihyon and the Yokai went. Anna: The ninjas have disappeared too... I can't believe humans are helping the Yokai... Inari: ...That woman might be being controlled. Anna: Controlled!? Inari: Yes. I felt something strange during that battle. Inari: I think she's possessed by some type of Yokai... Her will has been stolen from her. Anna: So it's the work of the Yokai, eh... Soldier: Report! Nurarihyon and the Yokai army's invasion force has been spotted! Anna: We've got to hurry! We can't let those Yokai get one step further!

Yokai Ushi-Oni

Anna: According to the report from the scouts, Nurarihyon has arrived at Eastland. Soldier: Report! The village just up ahead is under attack by Yokai! (Ushi-Oni appears) Inari: That Yokai... It's Ushi-Oni. It's super strong, and it can emit poison gas. Even compared to other Yokai, he's a deadly enemy. Anna: We can't just ignore the people under attack by the Yokai.Let's go to war! (Clear) Anna: We chased off the Yokai that were attacking the village. They were tough!

Anti-Yokai Ninja

Inari: Now with Nurarihyon reawakened, even stronger Yokai are starting to appear. Anna: We're received word that Nurarihyon has turned the capitol of Eastland into a stronghold. We need to hurry! Nagi: I've been waiting for you. I believe I'll just take those sealing talisman you're collecting. Anna: What are you planning to do with the sealing talismans? Nagi: Of course I'll give them to my Lord Nurarihyon. Inari: She's under his control. I think you're wasting your time even talking to her. Nagi: ...If you won't hand them over peacefully, I'll have to use force and take them! (Clear) Nagi: ...Ah!...Where am I...? What? I've been being controlled! Those filthy Yokai...! Anna: Ah...! She's gone... Inari: Huh? Oh, I just remembered! She must be... One of those Anti-Yokai Ninja. They specialize in sealing Yokai. Inari: They seal away Yokai that threaten humans and protect the places where they are sealed. The sealing talisman were also made by them. Anna: That makes sense. By controlling them, it would be easy to break the seals! Anna: But how do you know about Nagi anyway? Inari: Once when I was so busy scaring humans, that Nagi almost killed me. But I changed forms and ran away. Inari: But she's famous among the Yokai. She's like our ultimate enemy Inari: But enough of that. It looks like she's gone towards the city center. Inari: Isn't that where Nurarihyon is too? Let's go after her!

Great Yokai War

Anna: That giant tower...! But the mist that's surrounding it, it must be poison mist... Nagi: I hope you'll forgive me for what I did earlier. It seems I was being controlled by the Yokai, but I'm all right now. Nagi: I've come here to destroy Nurarihyon, the supreme commander. Nagi: But it won't be easy for me to do alone. Is there any way I can ask you to fight alongside me? Anna: OK. It looks like we're here for the same reason. Let's fight together! Nagi: Much appreciated... Inari: Yeah, sure. We'll be battle allies. Good to meet you, Nagi! Nagi: I know you...! What are you doing here!? Inari: Just relax. I'm helping the humans now. If Nurarihyon has his way, it won't be good for me either. (Nurarihyon appears) Nurarihyon: Welcome to my castle, humans. Thank you for coming all the way to Eastland to greet me. I'll amuse myself making you into my playthings. Nurarihyon: After I rid myself of you, I'll destroy all your sealing talisman...! All right my Yokai, come to me...! Nagi: The Yokai have the sealing talisman... You filthy Yokai, those belong to us! Anna: The enemies are headed this way! Inari: I told you before. Nurarihyon has the power to raise the fighting ability of the Yokai. Inari: That means if you destroy him, you can lower the Yokai's fighting power. It would be smart to go after him first. Inari: That Ushi-Oni is coming with his poison mist... Be careful... (Clear) Anna: We did it. We defeated the Yokai... Nagi: I never thought I'd see the fox spirit helping humans. You sure have changed. Anna: She's only helping us out to defeat Nurarihyon. Inari: Hee hee. Now that Nurarihyon is gone, you really think we can still be friends? Foolish human... Nagi: I knew it! She...! Anna: Inari...!? Inari: Ha ha, tricked you! See? I just love scaring humans! Nagi: Why you...! Anna: ...Inari! Do you want to be sealed away too? Inari: I was just joking! Forgive me! Nagi: Let's leave this tricky fox spirit alone... Those Yokai we defeated today will probably be sealed away again in that cave. Nagi: But we need to collect the sealing talisman scattered all around so that we can increase our power. Nagi: First we will repair the cave's keystone. Then one day, I will return here to you... Anna: I'll be waiting, Nagi. Well, now that the threat of the Yokai is defeated, shall we go back? Nurarihyon: He he he! Humans, we aren't defeated yet! Nurarihyon cannot be destroyed that easily! Anna: What? Did you say something? I thought I heard something... Nurarihyon: Eek! That woman has good ears! If we're found in this condition, we'll be sealed away...! Let's get out of here!
