Hero units are Awakened by default. All hero units come in 2 rarities. When only one rarity is released, it is guaranteed that the other will be released at a later date.
Hero units' abilities provide passive buffs to other units just by having them in the main barracks.
- Abilities of Black rarity versions override abilities of corresponding Platinum rarity versions (i.e. they do not stack)
- Unless each version buffs different units, then both remain active
Hero units can only be Cost Reduced, and Skill Raised via either their duplicates, or Hero Spirits.
- Black rarity Heroes can also be Cost Reduced and Skill Raised by their corresponding Platinum rarity version at a 100% chance.
All Hero units can passively debuff enemy Hero Units in The Tower of Heroes.
