Presumably, while attempting to set up seasonal auto-categorization, the affiliation section was messed up. As a result, old affiliations, such as White Empire or Undead got lost, since they had no intended value stated and instead started catching pagename as a category.
I circumvented it by specifying categories for white empire and undead, but ideally you'd want to fix it so it autocategorizes 'not specifically stated values' to what's written. I would fix it if I could, but that markup hurts my brain.
You can test it by adding random affiliation to a stats page, recaching the unit page and checking the categories. Unexpectedly Desert Country works properly.
Sheesh, fun indeed. It was still working fine a while ago. My computer is broken down right now so most of the stuff I've done recently is on my phone and I'm sure you already know how much of a pain that can be. I'll still look into it to see if anything cam be done but no promises.
Looking through it I can definitely confirm that this only started after I added Chibi to the affiliations category. Removing it woild be the easy way out, but it's an official category now so that's impossible. Joy...
To put it simply I need proof. Unlike some other sub-categories, Bewitching Beasts was only confirmed to be part of Youkai. There was a thread on it a while back. Also, all the abilities that affect only Bewtiching Beasts also affect Beasts, Divine Beasts, Hellbeasts, and Beastmen. Not a single ability affects any of those 5 individually. Unless there's proof otherwise, it makes no sense to keep it as a subcategory of Beasts.
Here we go the yaohu one was the thread for when Bewitching Beasts were added as a subset of youkai. Also the name having the characters for both Youkai and Beast does not make it a subset of beast. Else Hellbeasts would be subsets on Demons and Beasts based on the thread from Bull-Headed Demon King
That actually does not stand, because demon and hellbeast don't use the same kanji, while bewitching beast is a sort of mistranslation for you(kai)-beast.
Even conceding everything else, they are still effectively a combination of youkai and beasts. Everything that affects youkai or beasts affects them as well. You will not find any ability, nor skill that affects beasts but doesn't affect bewitching beasts.
If that's the case then you would have to apply it to all 5, Beasts, Beastmen, Bewitching Beasts, Hellbeasts, and Divine Beasts as, aside from the skill and abilities that target Youkai and Bewitching Beasts as a side result, all skills and abilities that affect any of those 5 affect all of them together.
Oh, yeah, knew I was forgetting something. I had been meaning to fix that issue for a while since Ability first had that source limit error with from having too many abilities on one page. Never reallly got around to it due to stuff popping up and I was kinda trying to keep my hands off of it in case someone wanted to do something with it until I kinda forgot I didn't do it. But it's been what? Nearly an exact year and now it's outdated due to Ability name changes and whatnot. I'll get to it.
As detailed here i have a bunch of scripts that silently scan through pages that are being transcluded anyway (since a transclude to any given page only counts the first time, therefore it doesn't use any transclusions towards the 100 limit) and add categories depending certain parameters on the page.
Anyway, i would appreciate it if you didn't add the categories listed under the generated sections manually as the scripts cannot remove manual overwrites, meaning if a class or units tags no longer become relevant, the script can't update it since the manual tag will still be there even if it removes its generated tag.
No need to worry about one-off tags such as has saw, has aw2, has aw, has profile, etc. That will generally never change. Was more worried about the ones such as "Class with no AW units, Class with no blacks" etc. which are subject to change.
Level doesn't matter for the iOS images since they're purely to showcase the modified artwork. For the regular screenshots, we already have the clean art so they'd be kinda redundant without the max stats.
Seeing you translate all those stories and creating your blog fires me up!! With your actions, my time in researching informations and details about the story of the game and characters has significantly lessened!!
Now I can gather plenty of infos about the selected units' personalities to use on my comics!!
Once again, thank you very much for your hard work, and bless you, brother!!
Ugh I hate the stuffy nose. Was visited by something akin to the flu recently and could barely breath for days. Hope you get better soon. Try pressing a hot towel to your nose or something if it gets really bad. That and anything that makes you cry (onions, peppers, a sad anime) also tends to clear the sinuses.
I'm sorry I only just realized this now, since it looks like you've been through 200 enemy pages by this point, but if it's just type categorization I'm pretty sure I have a way to do that automatically. Do you want me to do that right now?
That said, noting of skill use and designation of named bosses can't be added so easily, so thank you for taking the time to add those in.
If you can do a mass categorization of the pages themselves, that'd be great as it would cut my work by a third. Other than the page categorization, I'm still inputting the charactter types in the enemy tables themselves before adding any abilities, skills and units that affect enemies of each subcategory.
For example, http://aigis.wikia.com/wiki/Enemies/Bifrons_(Spirit). When I first started, it only had the enemy category, and the table didn't have Undead or Demon with links. Seeing as the Enemy tables can be implemented like Class and ability tables, I figured linking the categories into the actual table would help out down the line, so that's what I've been doing in addition to categorizing the pages themselves. I also did that for the Goblin Killer Ability and Ralph's Skill.
