Remnant Vanquish 2 (残党退治2) is the seventh optional Story Mission. This is the first map to feature Red Goblins (both Soldiers and Kings). These are slightly stronger versions of the purple goblins, but they are still not too dangerous. The difficulty of this map comes from its unprecedented count of four base points to defend.

Strategy[]
This map has 4 exit points which can be tough to guard all at the same time, thankfully this strategy covers enough ground that you only need 3 points blocked instead of all 4. Place Katie on the second melee slot from the lower left HQ point (spot I). Then place Phyllis on the single melee slot leading to the upper HQ points (spot G). Then place Crave near the lower right HQ point (spot N), then place Soma on the ranged slot nearest Phyllis (spot T). Katie's skill should be ready so use it and place Calliope under Crave (spot X). Then place the Prince behind Katie (spot H) to catch the Goblin Soldier that passes her and to buff your units. Phyllis' skill should be ready so use it to bring Alissa on the ranged slot under Katie's right (spot V). Then place Dorca next to Soma (spot S) to keep Phyllis and Crave alive, activate Crave's skill when Goblins are coming his way. Katie's skill should be ready again so use it then wait till you have enough UP to place Valerie in between the 2 houses at the bottom (spot W). Then place Bashira between the Prince and Katie (spot U).
