Self-Healing Abilities are abilities that give the unit the power to recover their HP without having to rely on an allied unit such as a Healer. Units with these abilities are usually capable of lasting longer on their own and, as a result, are easier to deploy in areas outside of your healing units' range.

Self-Healing abilities are split into three types: Instant Recovery, Regeneration, and Revival.

Instant Recovery[]

Regeneration[]

Regeneration abilities will constantly restore the HP of the specific unit until the reach maximum HP. Once at max, they disable themselves until the instant their unit loses HP. This process will continue for the entire duration the unit is deployed up until the end of the mission. These abilities can be forcefully disabled by paralysis and as such, one should be wary should any paralyzing enemies are near.

Revival[]

Revival abilities prevent a unit from ever truly dying and, as a result, they will never affect a mission's star rating. The moment a unit's HP reaches 0, these abilities will come into effect, keeping the unit deployed but unable to block any enemies while also gradually restoring their HP to the maximum. Once at max, the unit can continue as if they never died to begin with.
